Senior Residence Coordinator – EF London

EF International Language Campus, London, is seeking a highly motivated and professional Senior Residence Coordinator to oversee student residences in Central London.

We are looking for a proactive, self- starter with the drive and enthusiasm to continue to improve residence standards and increase customer satisfaction in our all year round and summer student residences.

Reporting to the Accommodation Manager and  Director of Student Services, you will oversee the day to day running of the residence, managing the residence assistants and summer residence coordinators, liaising with school administration teams and the onsite residence management, cleaning and maintenance teams in accordance with EF policy, British Council and ISI criteria.

Based at one of our residences, you will ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction through seamless arrival and departures, smooth management of the residence and excellent customer service and quarantine management.   Your duties will include working directly with the customers and staff onsite, ensuring cleanliness standards, health and safety and other residence rules and regulations are maintained and followed up.  You will be responsible for capacity management and working closely with the rest of the accommodation team on promoting residences to students and sales colleagues. Your working week will be Sunday to Thursday from 10am to 7pm.

This is an ideal position for an ambitious candidate who is looking to gain experience in a management role.

Our requirements: outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; highly developed customer service focus; excellent organisational skills; leadership experience/potential; experience in overseeing student accommodation or similar experience; appreciation of international cultures; ability to remain calm under pressure; experience of working with external suppliers; attention to detail; creative problem solving; positive attitude; a strong sense of ownership and the drive to succeed.
