Reports to:  VP - Head of Global Executive Coaching

 

The Opportunity:

Hult Ashridge Executive Education is looking for a confident and successful Business Development Manager, who feels passionate about executive coaching and what it can do for people in business. We take a very consultative approach to promoting our executive coaching services to large global businesses. A successful candidate will truly believe in the power of coaching, and perhaps even have benefitted from it personally. This person will be responsible for delivering sales through building relationships with potential clients and enthusiastically educating them on our range of services. It is truly a “people-person” role, with plenty of opportunities for hitting stretching goals and friendly competition. The successful candidate will be joining a passionate and successful Coaching Team, who truly believe in the power of our coaching practice, ability for further growth and drive to provide the highest level service for our clients globally.  They will play a significant role in the continued growth of the business, and also to positively affect the lives of many business leaders.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Identifying business-to-business opportunities by finding potential new customers and converting them into clients and increased business
  • Talking about the benefits of coaching and identifying which of the many services we offer is best for each client
  • Developing key relationships and influencing the decision makers within organisations to ensure Hult Ashridge is positioned as the preferred partner within the marketplace
  • Maximising buying opportunities and creating demand through knowledge of the market and competitors
  • Highlighting our differentiators and Unique Selling Points (USP)
  • Writing and delivering compelling pitch presentations for new and existing business, requiring a thorough knowledge of the market and the solutions/services that Hult Ashridge could provide above its competitors
  • Holding regular virtual and face to face meetings to ensure good contract management and regular reporting for new and existing accounts
  • Create new requests from existing clients to set-up new coaching and further coaching within their organisation
  • Ensuring compliance, governance and meeting performance expectations and ensuring all client interactions are documented.
  • Working collaboratively with other members of the coaching team and other sales teams across different products and regions to maximise cross-selling and strategic account management.

 

Essential Key Attributes

  • Relational sales skills, understanding client needs through active listening and skillfull questioning
  • Empathetic personality, understanding how best to serve our clients’ needs
  • Proven success in a B2B sales role with strong commercial acumen
  • Exceptional face to face and phone based communication skills
  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to key decision makers
  • Organised, with a strategic approach to targeting new accounts
  • Strong presence, with solid influencing skills and an ability to put together new business quotations
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Thrives under pressure in a target driven environment
  • Competent in Microsoft tools including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and knowledge of Salesforce CRM system
  • Knowledge of the executive education market and an understanding of coaching is advantageous.
