What you'll do:
As a Treasury Accountant you will support Eaton's GFA (Global Finance Accounting) Treasury Accounting CoE. Your main responsbility will be to oversee Eaton's Treasury accounting activities including capital market transactions, factoring transactions, cash management transactions, and financial analysis. You will collaborate with global corporate functions such as Treasury, Tax, GFA CoE's, and IT to execute strategic plans for total Eaton including items such as finance transformtion projects and system process improvements to drive efficiencies.
• Oversee accounting transactions of various Treasury centers.
• Conduct factoring analysis and reporting.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure data accuracy.
• Perform loan analysis.
• Develop and maintain Treasury Centers automation tools.
• Provide support for External (USGAAP & statutory) and Internal audits
• Participate in special Treasury projects that support the goals fo the finance transformation, including standardization and centralization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Minimum 2+ years of accoutning/finance experience
Skills:
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel
• Proficient use of accounting software (SAP/Oracle).
• Basic knowledge or interest in VBA/Power BI/SQL would be preferential.
