What you'll do:
• Support major and minor new projects and processes and build close relationship with other manufacturing operations and units.
• Support investment projects for improvement, including machine purchase recommendations, machine upgrades, installation, programming, etc.
• Provide technical support new equipment and/or technology transfer related projects; ensure the new processes successful implementation.
• Provide technical support to assigned new/implemented processes and areas in response to production and operator/machine setter needs.
• Identify inefficient processes, through observation and through interaction with operators within the manufacturing areas, and implement improvements through utilization of tools like Six Sigma.

• Participate in cross-functional project teams, assist with corrective actions and implement improvements and document associated cost savings.
• Lead prototype production, test process changes, and collect data. Utilize analysis to drive improvements.
• Implement new project through pre-serial production till SOP and after 3 months support to production.
• Utilize change management processes to be sure facility systems are updated with all project improvement changes; this includes updating all relevant process documents.
• Create for new projects: standard work, work instructions, process maps, FMEA's and other required documents for assigned processes.
• Work with product engineering as they develop new products and the associated processes / equipment through Eaton's PROLaunch gated development program.
• Be an active member of the Continuous Improvement and Development teams.
• Work closely with engineering, IT, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Identify opportunities to integrate digital technologies and automation into manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, flexibility, and responsiveness.
• Develop and manage systems for real-time monitoring and control of manufacturing equipment and processes.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required, Master's degree is preferred
• Minimum 2 years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment is required as project engineer, process engineer, industrial engineer or manufacturing engineer
Skills:
• Strong problem solving and data analysis skills
• Ability to use effectively Eaton Lean Six Sigma tools such as standard work, setup reduction, 5S+, problem solving and total preventive maintenance
• Right Attitude to both teamwork and able to assert oneself
• Experience in 4.0 industry and IIoT
• Experience with relational DB's (MS SQL)
• Strong understanding of IoT, data analytics, and automation technologies.
• Strongly focused on Commitments set by Management
• Strong verbal, written and technical communication skills
• Strongly focused on Commitments set by Superiors
• Superb Flexibility if Business Issues require those
• Confident English language skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to travel up to 15%
