Eaton is hiring a Senior Manager of Product Development for Direct Current. This position can be located In Pittsburgh, PA, Milwaukee, WI or Raleigh, NC. Relocation is offered.
Eaton, a global leader in power distribution, conversion, and control, is seeking a Senior Manager, Product Development for Direct Current Solutions with an initial focus on Data Centers. Reporting to the Vice President, Innovation and Technology, the Product Owner will lead both business and technical development of direct current data center power systems from utility connections all the way to the server racks. The Product Owner role will oversee a systems team and coordinate multiple product development teams in the creation and optimization of Direct Current power conversion, distribution, protection, and energy optimization. This position will drive internal innovation while collaborating directly with some of our largest customers.

What you'll do:
• Own the Direct Current System product development, customer interfaces, revenue generation and profitability for Eaton's data center segment.
• Explore and define the most optimal "customer value story" for Direct Current in data centers.
• Directly manage a team of systems engineers focused on total system value. Lead this team to do trade-off studies for the most optimal solution for customer value, performance, and total cost of ownership.
• Drive a multi-year strategic vision and Direct Current product roadmap integrating new technology and new product investments across the full breadth of Eaton's data center product lines.
• This position will be first line of communication on Direct Current Data Center customer system designs, quotations and early implementations supporting our data center segment sales and marketing teams.
Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum ten (10) years' experience in product development and/or engineering.
• Minimum two (2) years of manager of people experience.
• Minimum two (2) years in Direct Current power distribution systems.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA
• Extensive knowledge/experience with Power Distribution in Data Centers.
• Commercial facing experience in electrical industry in Sales, Marketing or Product Management.
• Demonstrated leadership of both direct reports and large matrixed teams.
• Strong Financial acumen.
• Proactive decision maker with bias for action.
• Capable of making difficult trade-off decisions between product line with support from technical experts and customer value propositions.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $158249.97 - $232099.96 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
