Eaton's Electrical division is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to work in our Dallas, Texas facility.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $77,249 - $113,29 a year.

What you'll do:

As a member of the Extended Leadership Team, the primary function of the senior HR generalist is to directly support the site in the development, implementation and execution of HR policies and programs to effectively drive value for the business and meet our operational and functional metrics. This role provides leadership in the effective administration of recruitment & selection, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, coaching, payroll administrative, affirmative action, and other HR processes.

Essential Function:

  • Engage in proactive positive employee relations strategies and initiatives; drive activities to promote engagement with employees at all levels including providing counsel and support to resolve interpersonal conflicts and employee relations issues and investigate and resolve employee relations matters.
  • Implement and administer policies and procedures consistent with the facility's inclusion and diversity initiatives, including driving actions to achieve affirmative action goals and leading outreach efforts by promoting and maintaining relationships with civic and educational institutions.
  • Partner with supervisors to ensure accountability is enforced as it relates to attendance and performance
  • Establish effective communications to keep employees informed of policies, procedures, and events. Design, implement, and maintain the site communications plan Provide advanced coaching, consulting and facilitation skills to influence behavior and business decisions consistent with Eaton Values.
  • Provide support in the areas of compensation and benefits: salary administration, assisting with wage surveys and communications, and helping employees with benefits questions and escalations.
  • Coordinate and administer the performance management process for production teams, providing guidance to supervisors and managers on development planning and assisting in coordinating the OCA (Organizational Capability Assessment) processes.
  • Champion employee survey improvement activities through analysis of survey data and identification of key improvement opportunities, providing direct support to survey improvement teams as appropriate
  • Utilize metrics to determine the health of the organization.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3 years of HR Generalist experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualification:

  • Master's degree in human resources, labor relations or business administration
  • HR experience in a manufacturing environment strongly desired.
  • PHR/SPHR Certification
  • Willingness to relocate to other Eaton locations throughout the US for future opportunities
