Senior Commercial Financial Analyst

Job profile:
This is a business partner role focused on supporting profitable growth driven by the country leadership team. The role reports directly to and closely supports the Commercial Finance Controller CZ,SK and Hungary. Being a right hand of the Commercial Finance Controller you'll develop fantastic relationships with your key senior stakeholders, becoming a trusted partner to the business and supporting them to drive the success of the business through the delivery of a high quality commercial finance offering. You'll drive positive change and improvements ensuring a visible and regular presence, refining processes and schedules, introducing new ways of working and ultimately maximising the "value added" by the team.

Job responsibilities:
Business partnering:
• Proactive commercial business relationship management and partnership
• Build strong relationship with the members of the country leadership team and other functions (Accounting, Marketing, HR, etc)
• Support the country performance to profitable growth
• Ensure real time support and improved insights into business performance and informed decision making
• Provide decision support for commercial deals, pricing actions and investments opportunities
• Build strong business and commercial acumen through direct relationships with the customers and business units
• Lead or support the development of business cases
Analytics:
• Provide insights into the business performance - monthly reporting requirements (month-end activities, forecast and profit plan)
• Lead the business partnering support for the annual profit plans and monthly forecasting working together with the country leadership team
• Specific focus on margins and profitability analytics, P&L, BS
• Customer bonus accruals, credit notes review, cost of goods analysis, ad hoc requests
• Propose financial solutions to business challenges while maintaining governance and financial controls
• Continuously improve tools to get better insights into the business
• Prioritise competing demands, proactively manage expectations of the stakeholders
• Apply business acumen and commercial awareness to deliver business objectives
We would like to bring:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- Solid practical experience of financial planning & analysis experience
- Budgeting, forecasting
- Analytical mindset, sales and business acumen, business partnering
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
- Fluent in English and Czech very welcome
Basic knowledge SAP or similar tool
Power BI, SmartView - nice to have
