Senior Analyst - Workforce Insights

What you'll do:

Overview
The incumbent will be a member of the Workforce Insights Team (WIT) which provides business driven, evidence-based insights that support the planning and execution of Eaton's talent strategy.

For this role, the chosen candidate will work in HR Analytics for the HR function. The candidate will be expected to demonstrate analytical thinking and learning agility in the day-to-day responsibilities. The candidate will be responsible for informally leading teams mentoring team and delivering projects by understanding stakeholder needs and problem statement, translating them in technical requirements and implement solutions via executing projects to provide analytical solutions. The role requires working with a team and delivering desired results by providing support through technical and functional expertise.

Role
1. Partner with stakeholders independently to understand requirements, translate them into technical requirements and provide consultation when needed.
2. Lead project teams w.r.t. planning timelines and delivery roadmap, providing technical and functional guidance, and driving the projects towards completion.
3. Make decisions and mentor team members to keep projects on track and achieve pre-identified milestones. Devise ways to be agile, and keep team engaged with the project.
4. Leverage technical-subject matter expertise to identify technical challenges, roadblocks, or tool requirements, if any, and help team resolve the same by exploring available internal and external resources..
5. Collaborate internally within and across teams to work on either technical support, learning or exchanging ideas that can benefit the team.
6. Actively participate in projects by being hands-on to help team solve problems and drive project towards completion.
7. Drive sustainability in projects e.g., create and maintain datasets, modular codes that can be leveraged across various use cases), share good practices, maintain documentation etc.
8. Drive technical innovation e.g., advancements in tools, modern statistical techniques (e.g., Text Analytics)
9. Building organization capability by taking initiatives in imparting skills in both within and outside team via learning sessions sharing technical know-how. Conduct retrospective learning sessions for projects.
10. Be a self-directed and self-driven professional - a self-starter, self-motivated and able to work with specific, but minimal direction and the ability to drive delivery by managing high-profile, highly complex, long-term projects delivered to our most senior leaders

Qualifications:

- Bachelors in engineering, analytics, statistics, or MBA-HR
- 6-8 years of experience with minimum 5 years of working on HR analytics

Skills:

- Experience with advanced analytics and visualization tools
