In Soest there are about 270 employees working in the location. Currently we are seeking a Product Manager for Central Power Systems
Responsibilties:
Responsibilities: As the Product Manager for Emergency Lighting - Central Battery Systems, you are responsible for driving the growth and success of Life Safety portfolio. You work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, marketing, and sales to develop and launch successful products that align with our business strategy and customer needs. You own the product lifecycle including ideation, development, launch, maintenance and phase-out. You are directly responsible for the end-to-end financial performance of the product portfolio, addressing competitiveness, product cost, sustainability, customer support, quality and price positioning. The role reports directly to the Head of Product Management (Emergency Lighting).
• Developing and executing a global strategic direction for the assigned portfolio of products.
• This strategic direction must be aligned to the overall business strategic direction and support Eaton's growth ambition.
• Manage the complete product lifecycle, from product development to obsolescence and aftermarket.
• Together with Project Managers, drive NPIs development through Eaton's PROLaunch process.
• Assist and validate sales strategy of all countries for NPI under his responsibility. Target margin improvement by valuing USPs
• Train and develop key stakeholders within the organization or to external customers/partners
• Perform periodic VOC (Voice of Customers) to internal and external audience to discover market trends and user experience
• Competition and technology monitor and benchmark. Be informed about new products, solutions and services
• Work with certification to influence and anticipate product standards.

• Support sales team for specific request on projects
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Eng. or equivalent
• Comprehensive experience in similar position
• Experience in commercial and/or Project Management role preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen
• Intercultural awareness - customer and business relations
• Digital mindset
• German - fluent level
• English - business level
