Manufacturing Engineering Assistant
Eaton's Power Components Division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Assistant. This is an on-site position based at our Beaver, PA facility.
The hourly rate for this position is $21.52 - $25.15 per hour.

What you'll do:
As a Manufacturing Engineering Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that customer orders are flawlessly interpreted and executed while supporting our engineering team in driving projects forward.
Key responsibilities:
Order Interpreter Extraordinaire:
- Accurately interpret and process "build to order" customer orders.
- Communicate with customers to clarify order details and resolve any discrepancies.
- Coordinate with internal departments (operations, supply chain, finance) to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain meticulous records of customer orders and interactions.
- Monitor order status and provide timely updates to customers.
- Identify and escalate any issues or delays in the order process.
- Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to enhance order accuracy and efficiency.
Engineering Support Specialist:
- Organize and maintain the Manufacturing Instructions (MIL) system.
- Update and support cost-out information and documentation.
- Assist Manufacturing Engineers with factory training initiatives.
- Maintain the pulse productivity database and provide root cause analysis.
- Coordinate routing, Bill of Materials (BOM) changes, and Manufacturing Change Order (MCO) activities.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED

Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited institution
- Previous experience in order processing and/or customer service in professional environment
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience using AS400, SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, along with AutoCAD
Skills:
