Machine Operator II - 2nd Shift

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Machine Operator II - 2nd Shift. The core hours are 2:15pm to 10:45pm. The hourly rate for this position is 22.00 per hour.

What you'll do:
- Understand and proficiently operate assigned machines/presses.
- Troubleshoot various machinery problems.
- Identify and tag tubs according to shop orders.
- QC and document all parts run on machines.
- Retrieve and enter data into SAP computer system.
- Inventory components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely
production. - Keep work areas clean and safe.
- Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:

- No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of LOCATION (50 miles) will be considered for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year + experience operating brake or stamping presses.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 6+ months of experience with forming or bending machines.
- 6+ months of experience reading drawings or blueprints.
- Experience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools.
Position Criteria:
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English.
- Able to operate machinery and presses safely.
- Able to read, accurately interpret, and produce parts from blueprints and shop

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for extended periods throughout the work shift.
- Regularly required to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance.
- Occasionally required to lift items up to 50 pounds with appropriate assistance or
equipment.
Environmental Conditions:
- Exposure to high noise levels; ear protection is required in designated areas.
- Frequent presence in high-traffic zones with active forklift operations.
- Work environment includes exposure to oils, lubricants, and solvents.
- Appropriate PPE is required to be worn per company policy.
