What you'll do:
This position is responsible for defining and communicating a shared architectural vision for an identity and access management/identity governance product which enables them to support current and future business needs for internal and external customers.
They will collaborate with Agile teams to consider solutions, validate technology assumptions, evaluate alternatives, and converge on a solution.
Finally, the System Architect will work closely with Enterprise and Solution Architects to deliver solutions that are aligned to the broader architecture guardrails.
Lead and participate in the planning, definition, development, and high-level design of identity and access management solutions and architectural alternatives including identity governance, access management and privileged access.

Enable a continuous delivery pipeline through proper design guidelines
Establish and communicate critical nonfunctional requirements with international internal customers
Consider the impact economic boundaries have on design decisions and operate accordingly
Participate in solution planning, incremental planning, product demos, and inspect and adapt events
Plan and develop the architectural runway for a product that supports desired outcomes for business, shop floor and customer facing systems
Provide technical oversight and encourage security, quality, and automation
Effectively negotiate with the business to ensure nonfunctional work (e.g. patching, platform upgrade etc.) is properly prioritized and worked on to reduce the accumulation of technical debt over time
Serve as subject matter expert and internal consultant to other technical staff and groups
Top-level responsible party for escalated support, working directly with external vendors
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, or in lieu of a degree, ten (10) years of experience with enterprise level IT systems
5 years of expert experience implementing or developing identity management architectures and systems
3 years of expert experience with major authentication/authorization platforms/standards such as certificate authentication, password-less authentication, ADFS, OAuth2, OIDC, RADIUS, Multi-factor authentication, conditional access RBAC (role-based access control) concepts, Kerberos, NTLMV2, WS-FED, SCIM and SAML
3 years with solid understanding of privilege account management systems, Identity Governance and Administration concepts and SDLC
Skills:
Experience working with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban
Advanced understanding of privileged access management systems, Identity Governance, Administration concepts and SDLC
Software development and API experience; Java, Python, JavaScript, REST API, SCIM API etc.
Experience working with a cloud platform such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. Certification is a plus
Effective verbal and written communication skills including the ability to explain and present technical concepts
Comfortable working directly with both technical and non-technical audiences
Good judgment, time management, and decision-making skills
Ability to work collaboratively on a technical team
Patience and empathy when working with developers and testers
Experience working with diverse, global cultures, organizations and teams
