HR Leader Germany Sales & Services Organization (m/f/d)

What you'll do:

Reporting directly to the EMEA HR Director of Sales and Marketing in Electrical Sector and functionally to the Sales Leader & Managing Director for Germany, the incumbent will be leading the Human Resources function in a wide range of functional areas including but not limited to HR& Business strategy deployment, organizational development and change management, employee and labor relations, compensation and benefits, recruitment and support to drive the business and HR transformation both at country and regional level.
The role is developmental to the country HR leader role in charge of providing Human Resources leadership and driving cross operations coordination & integration/alignment within the business entities in Germany. It will be also feeder role to senior HR positions at Regional level.

Job Responsibilities:
• Act as business partner, strategic solution provider, advisor and counsellor for the leadership team.
• Provide advanced coaching, consulting and facilitation to functional leaders. Provide guidance and direction on complex business and HR issues.
• Understand the business strategies and identifies opportunities to improve organizational capability. Drive culture change to align the organization with the strategy. Diagnose gaps between current and desired and deploy actions to resolve the gap.
• Acts as a role model and sponsor for Eaton Values and Philosophy and as a change agent and advisor to support driving ongoing business transformation.
• Support and coach the leadership to deploy a successful talent management strategy and succession planning process; focus on building the leadership capabilities for Sales& Marketing organization and hosted heads. Drive performance management practices to continuously raise the performance bar.
• Ensure a good external candidate pipeline through constant networking and branding activities in collaboration with country/local associations, universities and Eaton talent acquisition central function.
• Manage employee relations in partnership with management and interacting with works council(s) ensuring effective deployment of Eaton HR strategy whilst working with local employment law and collective agreements.
• Supports M&A activity and re-structuring projects according to company guidance.
• Advocate employee communication processes that inform employees and ensures meaningful two-way communication.
• Administer compensation programs to assure competitive pay practices through systems that reward superior employee performance whilst working within the framework required by local employment law.
• Integrate and support all Eaton established processes, such as organizational development, Talent management, wellbeing and engagement activities into work practices.
• Ensure compliance with local legal requirements and with Eaton programs and policies, support the local implementation of global HR processes.
• Manage and develop the HR team to ensure high quality service delivery whilst optimizing the use of resources to support business objectives, establishing solid partnerships and driving functional excellence.
• Support HR transformation to enhance business partnership approach through process efficiency improvement, through digitalization and standardization of practices with EMEA organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related subject required (MBA or Master in HR, Law preferred)
  • Proven track of 7-10 years of HR generalist experience in a similar senior role and at least 5 years of functional leadership experience in the human resources field.
  • Employee relations experience and understanding of German labor law. Proven track record of successful negotiation with Work Council & Unions
  • Experience in driving organizational and cultural changes in a matrix environment.
  • Track record of process optimization and harmonization efforts to improve HR productivity. Ability to manage a diversified workload which can alternate between operational and strategic.
  • Previous experience as Country HR/ ELR leader in multinational company preferred.
  • German and English business fluent
  • Availability to travel up to 15/20% as needed, driving license preferred.
