What you'll do:
As the Global Trade Management Import Analyst you will join the EMEA Global Trade Management Import Team, and will be responsible for supporting the overall import, customs and compliance functions in Eaton.
As part of the GTM Import Team, you are expected to play a highly visible role within GTM and SCM. You are expected to partner with your manager, team members, and coordinate with various functions and departments to align practices and improve import processes for the import function.

- Provide daily support to the EMEA business on customs compliance and import flows.
- Assist the GTM Manager in maintaining and reporting import data of the various businesses and sites.
- Analyze import data of various sites including but not limited to customs value, import duty, recordkeeping and others.
- Assist with the customs audit initiated by the import team.
- Support the business in implementing customs programs and facilities such as (deferment accounts, customs warehouses, IPR, AEO, etc.)
- Assist with the collection of transfer pricing date related information and explanation to the businesses.
- Attend key GTM trainings and virtual sessions/e-learnings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
Three to four years in customs / trade compliance function experience
Skills:
Understanding of:
* Hs code classification
* Customs valuation vs. goods value
* Origin of goods vs. customs origin and preferential origin
