What you'll do:
Summary:
Manage the Maintenance Mechanics and Facility Cleaners to ensure production needs and facility plans are met. Supports cell 5S efforts, provides leadership, conducts/assist in performance reviews and discussions, provides input on compensation for workforce. Ownership of work policy enforcement, which includes disciplinary discussions and documentation as necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)
- Schedule, prioritize, and level load PM and Demand Work Orders in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Monitor team output and drive improvements in timeliness and quality of completed work orders
- Responsible for off-shift security & fire systems and production issues
- Manage overtime to budgeted expectations
- Accountable for the cross training/skills matrix, driving flexibility and development of the team
- To create, promote, and enforce safety policies
- Ensure the training of new team members, and to maintain the accuracy of the training matrix
- Lead daily start up meetings to coordinate team efforts for 1st and 2nd shift
- Maintain performance management KPI's and drive Continuous Improvement activities on a daily basis
- Responsible for ensuring that Environmental, Health, and Safety are included as part of everyday activities

Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the operation of a Facility or other manufacturing experience with extensive supervisory experience
- Superior ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems and process related issues
- Knowledge of CMMS and Microsoft Office systems
- This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by export laws of the US. In order to be eligible you must be either a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science in a Technical field of study or Associates degree in a Technical field of study with a minimum of 3 years of Facility Management experience.
- Skilled in: organization, communication, leadership, coaching, personal computing, capacity management, and performance management
- Experience leading and educating maintenance teams and employees throughout a facility to deal with frequent changes, delays, and unexpected issues to meet customer demands.
- Familiarity and experience of HVAC, electrical, high pressure pneumatic systems (including gaseous and liquid Oxygen systems) building and grounds, and maintenance and equipment repair
- Knowledge of various Federal, State, County and Local codes and regulations involving construction, environment, fire, safety, sanitation, and recycling.
