Eaton is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead development and delivery of the Software products(Desktop/Web/Cloud) with PCS Digital Group. We are looking for motivated professionals with strong experience in driving software product development and possess good communication skills. They will play a key role in developing the next-generation technology solutions that change how users connect, explore, and interact with information and devices. Engineering Manager will lead a group of development and test engineers to develop and support digital software products in Industrial domain.

Success in this position requires the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, strong motivation for pursuing project objectives and the ability to learn and develop new techniques and development processes. We are looking for candidates who are able to see the bigger picture; strength in a system-level viewpoint is a must.

• Responsible for developing the technical and organizational talent to drive the objectives for infrastructure and intellectual capability building for products by using relevant organizational processes (example talent acquisition, performance management, Organizational and Technical capability assessment framework)
• Accountable to drive organic growth for Eaton by demonstrating innovation leadership to provide solutions for customer applications
• Responsible for the implementation of strategic actions related to capability and infrastructure development
• Collaborates closely with global and local teams to efficiently develop and implement growth strategies and technical roadmaps for proactively influencing and providing solutions.
• Efficiently applies the organizational processes to achieve the objectives and outcomes. Continuously look for opportunities to improve the processes by applying DFSS, LEAN and DMAIC principles.
• Leads complex products single or multiple depending on the scale and have keen eye on detail, performance and usability of application.
• Leads Quality review of the application and adopts Kaizan continous practices in the projects.


Bachelor's/Master's degree in engineering in Computer/Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical
10+ years of overall experience including 3+ years of experience as Software Team Manager and 7+ years of hands-on expertise in desktop, web or cloud software development.


Strong People management Skills with proven record of leading a fairly large team and meeting the Global Stakeholders' expectation.
Passion for people profiling and career roadmapping of employees with diverse skill set.
Experience with Web or Desktop development stack
Experience in one of the server side language C#, Java, Python.
Experience utilizing best practices in software engineering SOLID principles, ATOMIC, design patterns.
Proficient understanding of Source Control software and Code Collaboration tools (Git, SVN, etc.); experience with Issue and Project Tracking software (JIRA, TFS, etc.).
Abreast of upcoming software development/engineering tools, trends, and methodologies.
Good experiece with project software engineering metrics.
Experience working in Agile model for more that 3 years. Good to have scrum certification
Excellent verbal and written communication skills,Problem solving skills,Working in ambuiguity, process management.
Strong demonstration on presentation skills and experience with MS Office tools.
Experience working with global teams and driving the projects for high customer satisfaction.
high degree of aptitude, creativity, and self-direction is required. Ability to motivate teams to work under tight timelines is a must.
