Engineer - React Developer

What you'll do:

At Eaton India Innovation Center, the Digital team is currently seeking a UI Developer to join our team! This position is based at our office in Magarpatta City, Pune.
As a UI Developer in our center in India, you will work in Utility Domain and be part of a diverse team of talented developers, leads, architects, test engineers, scrum masters, DevOps engineers, and more.
You must have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks while adapting quickly to changing priorities. You thrive in a growth-oriented organization.
We are looking for someone who is passionate, understands and inculcates ethical values with transparency, and is a quick learner of upcoming technical domains.
We are seeking a skilled and passionate React.js Developer with over 3 years of experience in building modern, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in React.js and JavaScript, with a strong focus on frontend performance and UI/UX best practices."

• Contribute to the software development efforts by contributing to the architecture, design, and implementation of world class, high-performance, cloud/enterprise grade software applications.
• Evaluate business requirements to determine potential solutions.
• Work directly with stakeholders, engineering, and test to create high quality products that solve customer problems.
• Propose and provide innovative, competitive technical solutions which can make significant business impact and provide value to stakeholders.
• Provide work estimates and conduct design, implementation, and code reviews.
• Develop and execute plans for incremental and interactive project delivery.
• Work with test team to ensure adequate and appropriate test case coverage; investigate and fix bugs
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Required: Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Science Engineering from accredited institution
  Desired: Master's degree in Electrical/Computer/Electronics & Telecomm Engineering from accredited institution
• 3+ yrs of experience in Dev experience in Javascript
• 2+ years of experience in typescript
• 3+ yrs of experience in React JS
• 2+ yrs of experience with HTML5/CSS, ES6 as well as responsive designs.

Skills:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with Redux, Context API, or other state management libraries
• Experience with unit testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming
• Knowledge of build tools like Webpack, Babel.
• Familiarity with TypeScript
• Hands-on experience in UI automation and testing
• Knowledge of accessibility (a11y) and web standards
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Strong debugging and performance tuning skills
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Contributions to open-source projects or personal portfolio is a plus
• Ability to resolve issues that impact deadlines; moving rapidly to meet the demands of a fast-growing company.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate and interact with a variety of internal/external customers and/or co-workers.
• Results-oriented and demonstrated record of developing initiatives that impact productivity.
• Proactive and solutions-oriented with experience working in ambiguity.
• Problem Solving - uses digital technology and processes to solve difficult problems with effective solutions."
• Fluency in English
