Division Quality Systems and Processes Manager
Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Division Quality Systems and Processes Manager. This is a remote opportunity within the United States with up to 25% travel. Relocation is not provided for this position.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $123750.0 - $181500.0 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What you'll do:
The primary function of the Division Quality Systems and Processes Manager: Manage all aspects of quality assurance and control within an organization affected by developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory and customer requirements. Responsibilities include setting quality objectives, monitoring performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, addressing quality issues, enhancing product quality and customer satisfaction, ensuring products meet established standards of quality, reliability, and performance, developing and implementing quality control systems, monitoring production processes, conducting regular audits, and providing training and support to the quality assurance team and other staff members. This position has responsibility and authority of Quality System Management representative.
1. Certifications:
- Ensures that processes needed for an ISO-9001/ATEX/Marine/QAR/CAP and Eaton Quality System based quality management system are established, implanted and maintained to ensure compliance across GEIS Global manufacturing facilities
2. EQMS Deployment:
- Leads the deployment of Eaton Quality System policies in local QMS
- Establishes effective processes, procedures and methods for the areas of: Control of Documents, Control of Records, Management
- Review, Corrective and Preventive actions, and Internal Audits. Including a shared learning of all findings and comprehensive root cause and corrective action for all findings.
3. EBS Deployment:
- Champions the deployment of elements of the Eaton Business System related to assessment (EBSA/OpA EQMS)
What you'll do:
4. Building Organizational Capability:
- Builds Organizational Capability by executing development plans and providing needed training to personnel inside and outside of the quality organization
- Ensures the structure and training strategy needed to maintain quality auditors and internal audit schedule at all facilities
5. Performance Analysis and Recommendations to top management:
- Reports to top management on the performance of the quality management systems and any need for improvement. This includes the structure and training strategy needed to maintain quality auditors and internal audit schedule adherence at all facilities.
- Analyze division performance in Quality System procedures and drive improvements in not robust elements
- Executes Quality Line Side Reviews to identify gaps in current quality procedures, improve, standardize and re-implement them across the Business
6. Strategic Planning:
- Supports the development, implementation, sustainment and improvement of division-wide Quality System strategy
- Supports the execution and deployment of the defined Strategic Quality Plan in conjunction with Plants leadership
- Ensures the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization and strategic plan to meet those requirements
Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering from an accredited Institution
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality management systems and process management

Preferred Qualifications:
- Quality Tools & Methodologies - Problem Solving (8D, 5-Why, Root Cause Analysis), Measurement System Analysis & Calibration, APQP Core Tools (FMEA, Control Plans, Process Capability Studies, PPAP) Inspection principles, Auditing Principles, Statistical Process Control)
- Quality Systems - ISO-9001:2015 Lead Auditor, Eaton Quality System,
- Leadership Skills - Customer relationship management, Supplier management and development, accomplishing objectives through others, front-line leadership.
- Other Technical Skills - SAP, Minitab, Microsoft Office, Calibration tools
- Engineering Professional Degree
- Knowledgeable in QMS industry standards (Example: ISO 9001:2015, and Automotive industry Core Tools (APQP and CP, FMEA, SPC, MSA) and PPAP
- Audit skills in Quality and Business Management Systems (auditor, examiner, assessor)
- EBS / EBEA Support
- Supports other plant KPIs such as Safety, Delivery, and Employee Engagement.
