Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer. The position will be based at our facility in Sumter, SC.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $67500.0 - $99000.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What You'll Do: As a strategic leader in this role, you'll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and championing the Eaton Lean System (ELSS) and Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF) across the facility, aligning every initiative with key business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engaging Kaizen and Rapid Improvement Events that inspire teams and deliver measurable results
- Drive breakthrough improvements using ELSS and CIF methodologies
- Develop and deploy a long-term Continuous Improvement roadmap to guide sustainable success
- Serve as a subject-matter expert, mentoring and training teams on lean tools and best practices
- Conduct ELSS assessments to benchmark progress and identify opportunities
- Lead impactful cost-reduction projects and initiatives
- Collaborate across functions to support broader Operational Excellence efforts-including EHS and quality systems

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or High School Diploma with minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 1 years of manufacturing / continuous improvement experience
- Must be able to work in the U.S on a continuous basis without company sponsorship
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years manufacturing / Continuous improvement experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
- Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification
- Continuous Improvement (CI) Certifications
Skills:
Position Criteria:
• Effective communication skills (written, verbal, computer) required
• Demonstrated proficiency with basic manufacturing tools such as Lean, Six-Sigma, problem solving/decision making
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, PowerBI, etc.)
• Ability to lead and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support customer and manufacturing requirements
