Assistant Manager
What you'll do:
Will be Testing in-charge for Single phase & Three phase range of UPS ranging from 600VA up to 2400KVA, will be responsible of maintaining all test equipment's ,ICT and ATE. Responsible for conducting customer FAT (factory acceptance test) through power analyzer and DSO for all UPS in factory and client inspection. Trouble shooting and monitoring of all UPS technical parameters during testing.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, and production, to address product development issues and drive continuous improvement.
Identify and resolve technical issues during testing, providing timely feedback to the development team.
Mentor and train junior engineers and technicians, sharing expertise in UPS testing methodologies.

Understand UPS products through design, specification, applicable standards, configuration, applications and operations
Working knowledge in UPS testing through ATE, trouble shooting and monitoring of all UPS technical parameters during testing.
Knowledge in UPS communication tools to download data, upgrade FW, etc.
Knowledge on functioning different battery types and their charge discharge functions and battery life cycle curves.
Hands on experience in Load bank, Servo stabilizer, Varia, DC source , AC source for UPS testing.
Experience in parallel mode testing and interface to UPS like RS232, SNMP, Modbus, Hyperterminal
Experience in handling all power analyzer, multimeters, DSO, HV testers, ATE, execution of LabVIEW software
Good knowledge in power electronics circuits like, Charger, Inverter, Rectifier, Battery configurations, High DC voltage systems.
Good knowledge about electronic/electrical components, critical power components (e.g. IGBTs, SCRs, Diodes, capacitors, inductors, contactors, fuses, Contactors, disconnects etc.), knowledge about analogue/digital components/circuits understanding with analysis/trouble shooting skills
Hands-on experience in all types of electrical SLD and power audit,
Knowledge on standard IEC 62040-3 and IEC 62133.
Knowledge of PPEs, Safety, ESD Hazards
Effective technical documentation skills.
Ability to work both independently & as part of a team
Qualifications:
B.E (EEE/ECE/Power Electronics)
8 - 10 years in Test Engineering
Skills:
Expertise on Power Electronics, Pulse Power, High Power Solid-State Switching, Power Conditioning, High Voltage DC-AC Power Conversion, , Protection Circuits, High-Speed Communication Circuits, and Digital and Analog Controls, Power Magnetics, Gate Drives, I/O Interface Circuits and Control Hardware and Familiarity with Instrumentation and LabVIEW software
