Architect- Mobile App Development

What you'll do:

• Ability to create new/adjacent solutions/services in the IoT space in order to enhance the customer life time value of the products in the Eaton portfolio
• Act as a technical mentor and expert tech reviewer in domain. Review and approve Architecture/Design proposals based on requirements/statement of work and present to stakeholders/customers
• Continuously develop and contribute to enhancing the technical capabilities of the teams to provide best in class design in line with present and future business needs
• Influencing role in the creation of technology road map based on Product/COE Strategy globally and deploy them within the group and build organization's capability
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders , ecosystem partners to enhance the value proposition and quality of the engineering deliverables

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science/Electronics Engineering from an accredited institution required.

Skills:

• Proven 15+ total software industry experience, with focus towards mobile app development with iOS and Android platforms.
• Strong SW domain expertise and proven track record of creating solution architecture (fit for purpose) for IoT based products

Mobile App Architecture:

• Strong proficiency in mobile app architecture design and development, with focus on performance, security, stability and maintainability.
• Experience with multiple programming languages, such as Swift, Objective C, Kotlin, Java, and/or React Native.
• Exeperience with modern deisgn patterns used with mobile application architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Familiarity with cloud services and backend integration for mobile apps.

Technical Leadership:

• Technically, lead a team of mobile developers through reviews, mentoring and technical guidance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers.
• CI/CD pipeline constructs /architectures for Dev/ML ops
• TDD and BDD techniques
• SW craftsmanship techniques for "clean code" architectures
• Innovation Leadership - Is good at bringing the creative ideas of others to market, has good judgment about which creative ideas and suggestions will work, Has a sense about managing the creative process
