What you'll do:

Job Summary

  • Responsible by SCM financial reporting (IM, Log and DM), spend analysis, inflation and cost-out projects control, alignment with financial areas (plants, central VG, Corporate) and interface with global SCM structure, being also responsible by systems management (CODB, Qlikview, GPS and others).
    In parallel this position is accountable by SCM Capex process, coordinating activities with stakeholders, requesting CAR's, reporting monthly and managing tooling life cycle and replacement.
  • Is also responsible by SCM quote and change management process, being the interface with all areas and representing SCM in ECC forums.

Job Responsibilities
A. Comprehends how to define and apply complex data analysis and analytical tools for process improvements.
B. Provides reliable data for leadership decision making.
C. Prepares reports and other correspondence for use by Eaton SCM professional (local and global) and SA leadership.
D. Possesses fundamental and sound knowledge of the value chain process; and possesses the ability to analyze and interpret cost drivers when applying cost out strategies.
E. Is the SCM representative for plants Controllerships and Operations Controllership on data alignment and supports on daily issues related to material pricing, cost-out projects, and inflation report.
F. Builds relationship with internal customers to create strategy alignment and effective collaboration.
G. Complies and publicizes Eaton SCM procedures and values.
H. Coordinates SCM Capex process requesting CAR's, reporting monthly and managing tooling life cycle and replacement.
I. Focal Point in SCM for Cost Estimate and Change Management and lead process adequately.
J. Negotiations with internal and external suppliers; problem solves and settles disputes; develop win-win resolutions, and creates positive relations with tact, diplomacy, and appropriate judgment for the function.
K. Understands how to utilizes and apply project management tools and techniques for procurement applications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree desired in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields
  • Experience in SCM (direct materials)
  • Advanced English

Preferred

  • Experience with project coordination in purchasing
  • Oracle knowledge
  • Knowledge of Eaton core products and supplier capabilities
  • Knowledge of supply chain and purchasing requirements.
