The expected annual salary range for this role is $107812.53 - $158125.04 a year.

What you'll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Directs and coordinates all activities of the Focus Factory in processing materials or manufacturing products in the organization by performing the following duties personally or through High Performance work team members. Primary responsibility to set tasks and priorities for High Performance work teams; provide technical support, analysis, and guidance of design, manufacturing, customer/contract support, and procurement. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Provide methods of cost reduction for production and production-related activities by exercising lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques. Uses technical assessment to provide updates and corrections to process plans, routings, or Bills-Of-Material. Always aligned to the Eaton Business System (EBS).

This 2nd shift role requires working on-site at our Camarillo location ... 3 pm to 12 pm M-F.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
A. Manage direct reports to achieve the operational targets & objectives.
B. Communicate and demonstrate the Eaton best practices, ethics, values, and philosophy such that these cultural attributes are incorporated throughout the organization.
C. Identify and implement methods and practices to achieve steady improvement in efficiency, quality, service, and continuous improvement in operating profits.
D. Assist in the creation of training plans and programs and promote cross-training opportunities.
E. Promote a Quality, Safety and Continuous Improvement culture by demonstrating ownership and accountability throughout the supported value streams.
F. Coordinate execution of manufacturing schedules and priorities within the production plan to satisfy customer requirements.
G. Ensure appropriate quality processes and tools are in place and being utilized consistently, facilitating training as appropriate.
H. Ensuring that Environmental, Health, and Safety are included as part of everyday activities.
I. Review production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates to plan department operations.
J. Develop or revise standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.
K. Prepare operational schedule and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications.
L. Review production and operating reports to assess performance indicators and take appropriate action to resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
M. Reduce cost of operations by implementing Lean Manufacturing, SPC, and Continuous Improvement. Initiate Kaizen events as necessary to achieve best in class operations.
N. Confer with management personnel to establish production and quality control standards to obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.
O. Manages and directs all production activities and establish production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 3+ years of Production Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within 50 miles of Camarillo, CA will be considered for this position.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

• Knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements and order generation process logic
• Understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding production planning, scheduling, purchasing, inventory control, logistics, stockroom operations, and shipping/receiving
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Process Variation Reduction (Six Sigma) concepts and tool sets as they relate to materials management.
