Position Summary

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

New Business Development
  • New Customer Acquisition for CBIG Reports, Subsidiaries Report, DRS Solutions Sectoral Risk Report, Detail Project Reports, Corporate Engagement/ Benchmarking study/Customized Research Project /Market Sizing/Assessment in assigned territory/ Country reports, Trade Exchange Program.
  • Effective and coordinated handling of existing customer base to drive the above product offerings.
  • Complete Ownership of existing accounts from Lead Generation to Delivery of final service offering.
  • Daily reporting of all sales activity.
  • Business Development & Relationship building with Corporates and signing MOU's through Channel development or any PE / FI for quarterly updates or yearly updates.
  • Would be responsible for the business targets reporting to SAM/UM/SM for this position.
  • Responsible for the overall process involvement during Accounts Receivables /NDA with legal/ timelines and scope document with operation/ delivery team in the respective Regions.
  • Provide industry updates at regular intervals and maintaining a constant relationship with the existing customers through courtesy meetings.
Operations
  • Always ensure process adherence and error free timely delivery of projects.
  • Liaising with the operations team for a smooth delivery of the product and ensuring the service expectations of the customers are met.
  • Maintaining the data / client contact details in appropriate data warehouses hygienically.
  • Progress Reviews and Forecasting Reports are filed periodically as required by the Management.
  • Regular update of all the activities in the tools provided and track the movement of all such activities
People Management
  • Be a team player
  • Possess the right attitude to work in cohesion with counterparts and colleagues. Will work under the direct supervision of the UM or Senior Manager
KEY REQUIREMENTS
  • MBA or any post-graduation with relevant experience of 3 plus years in business development.
  • Should have good knowledge of the local commercial and Industrial Belts.
  • Ability to comprehend and analyze financial statements.
  • Highly articulate with excellent business communication (verbal and written) skills and presentation skills suitable for a global corporate environment.
  • Should not have apprehensions to travel beyond city limits for the interest of business.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to provide value added insights.
  • Possesses excellent MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, and MS-Word skills
Primary External Interactions:
  • Industry Chambers and Corporate Associations etc.
Primary Internal Interactions:
  • Managing Directors/Directors, CXO's.
Secondary Interactions
  • Finance, HR, Facility, IT Infrastructure, Heads of Other SBU
Competencies:
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proven selling skills, especially handling key accounts.
  • Strong Communication and Presentation skills.
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Understanding of the basics of financials and accounting.
  • An understanding on the Corporate Business Models across industries, Industry Trends, Market Behavior etc.
