Enterprise Services comprises of multiple business platforms including Client Services, Global Business Operations, Business Architecture, Data Strategy and Analytics, and Digital Services, which report into the Chief of Enterprise Services. These grouped platforms enable the business to optimize delivery for clients, generate efficiencies and resilience, and enable consistency in the business digitization strategy, processes and end-to-end best practices.

The Impact you will have in this role:

This role is responsible for ensuring the organization's ability to withstand and rapidly recover from incidents and disruptions. The role involves developing and implementing comprehensive risk management strategies to fortify the firm's operational resilience, safeguarding critical processes, technology, assets, products and services, to enhance stakeholder trust and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop enterprise resilience strategies through identification and analysis of business operating models, functional strategies and operational initiatives.
  • Drive operational resilience efforts across the enterprise, including but not limited to:
    • Documenting critical services and maintenance of the enterprise service catalog, and working with stakeholders to maintain disruption tolerances and identify potential disruption scenarios.
    • Managing disruption planning and recovery objectives.
    • Optimize and manage first line of defense business continuity responsibilities, including but not limited to business impact analysis, resilience plan support and review. Partner with second line of defense Business Continuity colleagues to effectively challenge cross functional teams to promote service resiliency.
    • Oversee the maintenance and periodic testing of the firm's suite of operational response capabilities which aid in recovery and resumption under a range of scenarios.
  • Support the Head of ERO to oversee the Enterprise Resilience Council, which drives the guidance and direction of the organization's cross-functional resiliency-related activities, updates, and monitoring of resilience exercises.
  • Partner with key stakeholders and Regulatory Relations to interface with global supervisors, including effective management of examination requests, process overviews, and documentation reviews.
  • Manage the firm's Operational Resilience Framework and other relevant policies and procedures, ensuring a unified approach to operational resilience, while continuously assessing evolving best practices. Maintain engagement with General Counsel's Office regarding policy updates that impact the firm's business units (e.g., Digital Operational Resilience Act).
  • Maintain relationships with cross-functional business leaders within and across regions to reinforce resiliency and to ensure the ERO understands the resiliency concerns of each business.
  • Collaborate with the Crisis Management Team during crises, including coordination with multiple functions and C-Suite members
  • Act as a collaborator and/or decision maker on time-sensitive external communications to clients, board, and industry associations.
  • Oversee firm-wide enterprise resiliency projects and drive continuous improvement of the ERO's people, processes and tooling.
  • Lead and develop ERO team members across region(s) (North America or APAC / EMEA), fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment to cultivate a high performance culture.
  • Participate in industry and functional seminars, industry working groups, and trainings to ensure DTCC is delivering best in class incident responses and act as a thought leader to clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 15 years of related experience in Product, Operations, Incident Response, Operational and/or Technology Resilience, or other risk management teams.
  • Relevant Master's degree (e.g., MBA) or certification preferred or equivalent experience.


Talents Needed for Success:
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator who is comfortable navigating legal, technical, and business concepts.
  • Competent and confident during a crisis and able to work under pressure.
  • Experience defining and managing operational resilience within a complex organization, within the financial services industry.
  • Experience managing a diverse range and seniority of stakeholders through critical business issues and/or active incidents or crises (e.g., running a client-facing enterprise incident response function).
  • Knowledge of derivatives and securities market practices, treasury markets, clearing mandates for financial services participants.
  • Familiar with DTCC products / services and its role in capital markets.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams.


The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
