The Impact you will have in this role:

Enterprise Services comprises of multiple business platforms including Client Services, Global Business Operations, Business Architecture, Data Strategy and Analytics, and Digital Services, which report into the Chief of Enterprise Services. These grouped platforms enable the business to optimize delivery for clients, generate efficiencies and resilience, and enable consistency in the business digitization strategy, processes and end-to-end best practices.

Being a member of Enterprise Services, the ERO ED will lead the firms' external engagement strategy for client testing, industry-wide exercises and regulatory resilience initiatives. This role is pivotal in strengthening the firm's external partnerships, ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory expectations, and reinforcing the financial ecosystem's resilience. The role requires a highly collaborative, strategic leader who can engage with clients, industry bodies, and regulators to drive substantial resilience outcomes.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

Client and Industry Engagement
  • Lead the firm's client-facing resilience strategy, ensuring effective participation in joint resilience exercises, and crisis response situations.
  • Act as the primary liaison for clients, counterparties and financial market infrastructures on business continuity and resilience matters.
  • Develop and implement a client engagement framework, ensuring clients understand and align with the firm's resilience standards.
  • Partner with relationship managers and client service teams to communicate operational resilience capabilities and address client concerns.


Industry Exercises & Crisis Simulations
  • Drive the firm's participation in global and regional resilience exercises, including industry-wide stress tests and cyber resilience initiatives.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies, industry associations and peer institutions to craft and improve cross-industry resilience testing.
  • Lead internal preparation for simulated market-wide disruption scenarios, ensuring the firm is positioned to respond effectively to systemic risks.
  • Analyze and report on lessons learned from industry exercises, driving continuous improvement in resilience and strategies.

Internal Collaboration and Influence
  • Partner with internal collaborators across the business, IT, operations, and second line teams to align internal strategies with external engagement efforts.
  • Influence senior partners to prioritize external-facing resilience activities, demonstrating their value to business operations and client trust.
  • Drive awareness of industry standard processes across business units, helping embed a proactive resilience culture.
  • Champions a risk management culture through implementation and demonstration of processes and procedures which identify and mitigate risk.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 15 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success:
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator who is comfortable navigating legal, technical, and business concepts.
  • Proficient and confident during a crisis and able to work under pressure.
  • Experience defining and leading operational resilience within a sophisticated organization, within the financial services industry.
  • Experience leading a diverse range and seniority of collaborators through critical business issues and/or active incidents or crises (e.g., running a client-facing enterprise incident response function).
  • Knowledge of derivatives and securities market practices, treasury markets, clearing mandates for financial services participants.


The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
