DoorDash's Dasher Trust team is looking for an experienced leader to oversee our work in the Identity, Authenticity, and Background Check spaces. The Dasher Trust team's work on Identity is critical to ensure that every delivery on DoorDash is a safe one. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a proven track record of performance to oversee our strategy in this critical area.
About the Role
As a Senior Manager on DoorDash's Dasher Trust team, you will be responsible for leading a strategy and operations team and designing the strategy and end-to-end execution for critical large-scale initiatives in the Identity, Authenticity, and Background Check spaces. You will partner with internal cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering Analytics, Operations, Marketing, Policy, and Legal, to launch initiatives from 0→1.

You will report to our Director of Dasher Integrity.

- Own the team's strategy and roadmap using a data-driven, first principles approach to solve problems in a complicated, dynamic space
- Lead the group of cross stakeholders, including Product, Engineering, Support, Legal, Policy, and others to drive key strategic projects
- Utilize and analyze complex data to make strategic recommendations on what products & solutions we should build to achieve our Trust team goals
- Gain an understanding of our different vendors across the space, and work closely with them to find optimizations and improvements across the shared workflows and processes
- Track progress of goals, highlight tradeoffs and prioritization for initiatives across the team, and communicate results to executive leadership
- Be a nimble and quick problem-solver who isn't afraid to jump into an ambiguous problem that arises and can find an approach to solve - we are operating in a dynamic space, so we're looking for people excited about the challenge of new and unexpected areas to deep dive!

- 8+ years focused on Strategy & Operations or experience executing in a fast-paced environment
- You have experience leading a strategy and operations team and indirectly leading cross-functional stakeholders
- You have experience communicating to and influencing executives
- You have the ability to scope solutions from ambiguous requirements
- You are able to translate data into actionable recommendations
- Knowledge of the product we offer and passion for DoorDash's mission
- Bachelor degree required
Compensation
The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

See below for paid time off details:
- For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
- For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.
$170,000-$250,000 USD
