Job Duties and Responsibilities
Senior Engineer- Systems sought by DISH Wireless, LLC in Englewood, Colorado.
Prepare channel takedown activities. Lead channel launch engineering team in weekly maintenance/support activities for the customer facing satellite television and video on demand systems. Lead team developing packaging and authorization solutions. Maintain and improve standard procedure documentation on the current system for use in future activity planning and training. Mentor and train new team members. Provide system planning and execution for all programming contractual dispute preparations. Develop and deploy creative solutions to meet broadcast system and business needs. Assist business teams with new configurations/requests. Work with and improve team software tools. Working on assigned channel launch activities. Troubleshoot customer impacting issues. Assist with weekly channel authorization work.

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Requires Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronic and Communications Engineering, or Telecommunications plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in tech industry in job offered or as systems engineer/test engineer/ software developer. Also requires 5 years of experience with /using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):
- Linux/Unix and scripting
- Oracle and MySQL
Compensation: $152,069.00/Year - $152,069.00/Year
