Job Description:

What You'll Do

• Help develop, execute, and evaluate the management of regulatory ongoing monitoring engagements and regulatory examinations.

• Maintain a positive relationship by interacting regularly with examiners from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Federal Reserve, and various state and International regulatory agencies in preparation for, and during, an examination and routine continuous monitoring engagements.

• Work under minimal supervision.

• Actively manages and escalates risk and compliance issues within the day-to-day role to management.

How You'll Do It

• Maintain an enterprise-wide, centralized repository of regulatory inquiries, examination requests and responses, reports of examination and any examination matters requiring attention.

• Provide regular status reports to senior management. Communicate trends to other practice groups across the enterprise.

• Provide regular updates to senior management regarding the examination status. Communicate examination findings.

• Assist with continuous monitoring regulatory engagement meetings and manage ad-hoc requests made by regulators, ensuring timely and complete responses are provided to the regulators.

• As needed, project manage regulatory examination overflow from initial requests to the conclusion of the examination by distributing requests to applicable stakeholders, ensuring timely responses to regulators, facilitating regulatory meetings, maintaining relationships with examiners, effectively challenging penholders on responses and communications, and escalating matters when appropriate.

• Establish regular preparation meetings with the target business unit(s) in advance of an examination. Conduct pre-examination coordination of the respective agency examiner-in-charge to communicate logistics.

• Make informed decisions regarding regulatory matters. Work with senior management to analyze regulatory requests and provide direction for effective approach to regulatory requests.

• Regularly assess regulatory monitoring engagements and examination process and make changes to support enhanced regulatory expectations.

• Keep current with emerging regulatory topics and best practices, disseminating this information across the appropriate business units.

Qualifications You'll Need

The Basics

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, law or related field

• 6+ years of experience in consumer financial services, employment, intellectual property, antitrust or related field

• In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in consumer financial services, employment, intellectual property, antitrust or related field

Bonus Points If You Have

• Qualification as a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $88,500.00 to $149,300.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
