About the role-
The success of The Experience Centre (TEC) relies heavily on the quality and effective use of the advanced technology built into the design of the centre to create the best user experience. The broad mix of customers from retail, on trade, cash & carry, wholesale, travel retail, D Comm and 3rd space require the use of bespoke digital content to bring our brand and category stories to life and demonstrate what a perfect store or outlet should look like for each customer and channel.
The Event Content Creator role will provide host and guest support to optimise the use of the technology in the TEC. They will facilitate in-house management, adaptation, and content creation to meet the tight timeframes required to support commercial and category teams in creating an enhanced customer experience.
The high-quality visualisation from wrap around projection, High-Definition LED screens, touch panels and sound systems create a truly immersive experience. As most hosts will be infrequent users, the Event Content Creator role is critical in ensuring a consistent quality of content while supporting the development of a memorable event to deliver the identified business objectives. Curating a relevant library of brand, shopper and category content will significantly reduce preparation time for hosts and avoid unnecessary duplication of time, effort, and cost.
Role Responsibilities-
- Supports the day-to-day management of events.
- Support the management of Diary and Booking system.
- Guide and support hosts to design and deliver best in class events, optimising the space and technology.
- Manages the creation and execution of TEC led content (Physical and Digital)
- Curate Brand, Shopper and Category content in line with Diageo strategy.
- Manage day to day Content Agency relationships.
- Act as consultant on all future technical and digital upgrades and partnerships.
- Manage the day-to-day tasks of TEC Content Management System.
- Manage Internal Comms - share best practice on using the Centre with key internal stakeholders to inform them of how to plan and deliver a compelling engagement.
- Act as a Cover for TEC Manager
Experience / skills required -
- Advanced PowerPoint / Presentation Media skills
- Confident with Windows 11 and Mac applications
- Understanding of AI tools to generate advanced design content.
- In depth knowledge of DCH, Photoshop and video editing software
- Understanding of Diageo brands and categories
- Understanding of Diageo customers and channel focus
- Previous experience in hosting/hospitality
- Holistic skillset across organising and delivering customer facing events from content creation to delivery.
- Comfort with dealing with ambiguity, complexity and working within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management across all levels of the organisation
- A good team player who loves working with others to deliver excellent guest experiences.
