About the Role
In-market HR activities
- Ensure accurate data is provided in a timely manner to the Payroll team, so for employees to be paid on time.
- Coordinate the various legal and Government forms, ensuring that documents are processed, recorded and stored as required.
- Engage with local benefits providers - with particular focus on private medical & pension company - to ensure efficient ways of working and resolve issues regarding local benefits.
- To work closely with the finance department to ensure accurate employment costs monitoring and compliance with partners (e.g. state authorities).
- Support local HR team in other HR streams, based on project requirements from time to time.
Service Provision
- Always encourage and drive employees and HR colleagues to follow the established HR processes consistently and suggest the most appropriate ways to embed the new ways of working.
- Use all the provided systems maintain the most accurate employee data and to supervise every request coming from the market to ensure queries are recorded and outcomes are delivered within the agreed timings.
- Advise employees and rest of HR team on use of HR system.
- To be available to answer queries received from employees via phone, email or in person in a thorough, accurate and professional manner within the agreed timings.
Data Accuracy and process compliance & improvement
- To keep HR information, in databases used, up to date in an accurate and timely manner.
- To ensure all processes are followed as outlined and actions are always aligned with the established guidelines, both internal and external ones.
- To safely retain employee data in accordance with GDPR legislation and as per Process Maps / Work Instructions.
- Ensure full adherence and capability around the compliance requirements and responsibilities of the role at all times. Raise any concerns relating to various issues and partner with HR and with HR Shared Services team in order to resolve.• Regularly review the processes for the role from a Continuous Improvement standpoint. Proactively raise issues and suggest ideas for improving efficiency or service.
What you will bring
- Minimum of 3 years Human Resources experience in a business which operates within Greece.
- Experience in Payroll administration & Greek labor law will be a big plus.
- Ideally holds a MSc in HR or Business field - should hold a University BA/BSc as a minimum.
- Computer Literate (with increased focus on MS Excel).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Greek and English.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize daily tasks and work both independently and as part of a team while reporting remotely.
- Flexible and able to build good relationships with various partners.
