Purpose of the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive individual to join the Scotch Governance team as a Governance Coordinator. This role will play a pivotal part in driving and supporting performance and transformation across a range of disciplines including Health & Safety, Process Safety, Environmental Sustainability, Compliance & Ethics, and Risk & Assurance.
You will lead and support strategic initiatives that embed Manufacturing Excellence (ManEx) principles and deliver tangible improvements in governance and operational performance. Working in close partnership with Scotch Manufacturing and Governance leadership teams, you'll be instrumental in enabling robust risk management and facilitating continuous improvement across all governance functions.

Key Accountabilities
- Facilitate and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the Governance portfolio - including H&S, Process Safety, Environment, Risk & Assurance, and C&E.
- Embed ManEx standards and DMAIC methodologies across the Governance function and associated processes including deployment of TRACC modules including EHS and Quality as well as other standard methodologies.
- Act as the budget controller for the Governance team - including PO management, budget tracking, and financial submissions in partnership with Finance.
- Lead the coordination and submission of annual budgets across Governance subject areas.
- Support Scotch Governance leadership by handling and delivering strategic initiatives in collaboration with Scotch Manufacturing sites.
- Provide actionable insights to identify performance improvement opportunities and advise governance strategy.

- Delivery of cross-functional strategic projects that improve safety, compliance, and business integrity.
- Drive robust change management through effective risk assessment practices.
- Elevate performance across the Governance function by aligning priorities with broader business goals and compliance standards.
What You'll Bring
Qualifications:
- Project Management certification or validated project delivery experience.
- Practical understanding of ManEx tools and techniques (e.g. DMAIC, 5 Whys, TRACC).
- NEBOSH qualification (or willingness to attain one).
Experience:
- Hands-on experience in project management and budget tracking (Coupa, Candex preferred).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across internal teams and external bodies.
- Advanced IT proficiency across Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook - and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Experience in a governance-related role is desirable but not essential.
