About the role:

We are seeking a skilled and diligent Data Lead to take ownership of our commercial data ecosystem. In this role, you will be responsible for handling and optimizing the integrity, accuracy, and availability of data across key commercial platforms. This is a pivotal role that sits at the intersection of business and technology, enabling data-driven decision-making across our commercial organization.

  • Lead Master Data Strategy: Define and implement best-in-class master data governance and data quality standards for commercial operations.


  • Salesforce & TRAX Ownership: Act as the business data steward for Salesforce and TRAX systems, ensuring consistent data structures, processes, and reporting integrity.


  • Data Quality & Governance: Monitor and improve data quality through audits, validations, and cleansing initiatives. Establish and maintain data governance frameworks.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, D&T, and Commercial Performance Management teams to align commercial data processes with business objectives.


  • Process Optimization: Identify gaps and recommend improvements in data entry, synchronization, and usage across systems.


  • Training & Enablement: Support capability building by training business users on data standards, processes, and tools to promote adoption and accountability.


  • Reporting & Analytics Support: Enable accurate reporting by ensuring that master data supports key critical metrics and dashboards used by commercial teams.


  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure alignment with regulatory and internal compliance standards regarding data usage and privacy.


  • Knowledge transfer: capture use cases and bring forward the value created through the data-lake (cost-saving with external third parties, time saving, etc.)


About You

  • Commercially experienced with knowledge of how the field sales force operates.


  • Relevant understanding of data and its impact on the daily commercial business.


  • Ability to inspire change, challenge and deliver under tight and ambitious timescales.


  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills


  • Superb communication skills with the ability to translate technical topics into business language


  • A problem-solver, motivated and agile demeanour - someone who lives and breathes implementation


  • Knowledge of Salesforce and skilled user of Excel


  • Great teammate
