About the Role:
- The Agriculture Finance Controller will work as a phenomenal teammate, legendary business partner and example with agriculture operation, harvest and support teams to complain with local and global policies, process, as well as reaching the annual agriculture results and ambition.
- Develop and complete finance control reports to support the adequate execution of budget, productivity plans and others like harvest main metrics waste control by agriculture zone, agave plot, etc., revenue recognition adjustment, inventory management, power BI reports (Actuals vs AOP, LY, LE's), etc.
- Prepare the Annual Operating Plan, monthly forecast and long-term strategy (10Y) for Harvest main metrics with visibility by agave plot, plantation, agriculture zone and total company. Also, for the support areas working with each cost center owner (main team members).
- Prepare and present financial cases according to agriculture projects: (CAPEX, ESG agenda, Harvest, R&D, etc.).
- Constantly strive to improve forecast, accounting & control processes ensuring right usage of cost center, GL accounts, etc., and champion the Code of Business Conduct.
- Coordinate and executive the physical inventories for Biological Assets, Agrochemicals, Tools & Spare Parts in each Agriculture warehouse.
- Support of control environment ensuring compliance with Control Assurance and Risk Management.
- Provides guidance as well as ensuring appropriate financial governance and controls are in place, working together with Share Services Center, D&T (AGREX) and Local Finance team.
- The Finance Controller will provide operational and finance recommendations to make agile and speed decision to achieve Agriculture Diageo goals, strategy, and ambition.

Experience required/Skills/Capabilities/Languages:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineer, Economist.
- Have at least 6 years of experience in FP&A, Controlling & Accounting, Finance Business Partnering.
- Master in Excel. Have SAP knowledge and Power BI desired.
- Advance in English
- Develop and lead Ad hoc finance reports and analysis.
- Have strong accounting and finance forecast skill, as well as the ability to work with different leadership styles, teams and levels.
- Set the path and make it happen, being hands-on and a professional with the attitude to build and improve processes, lead the continued improvement mind set.
- Externally obsessed (external and future obsession): Robust commercial and competitor external lens, with a fresh attitude to drive opportunities and risk for the business.
