Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a remote team of sales agents and one coordinator.
- Coach the full team—not just direct reports—through group chats, performance feedback, and regular engagement.
- Ensure shift coverage within an 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM ET window, rotating responsibilities with fellow supervisors.
- Foster a collaborative, high-energy environment focused on shared goals and clear communication across agents, coordinators, and supervisors.
- Handle escalations and address product inquiries from members, requiring deep product knowledge and professionalism.
- Ensure accuracy in time approvals, corrective actions, and documentation with support from coordinators and subject matter experts.
- Utilize Excel effectively to manage performance reporting and track key metrics.
- Develop and implement departmental and individual KPIs to ensure alignment with business unit and enterprise goals.
- Resolve escalated and sensitive customer issues efficiently, promoting customer satisfaction and retention.
- Train and guide the team on new processes, tools, and updates as needed.
- Support compliance audits by updating complaint and grievance documentation in partnership with the Compliance team.
- Contribute to department and enterprise-wide projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 5+ years of sales experience in individual health or dental insurance.
- Active Life and Health Insurance License highly preferred.
- Proven leadership experience in coaching others on sales processes and driving performance.
- Known for being approachable, collaborative, and supportive—across and beyond direct team members.
- High proficiency in Excel, including data tracking, report creation, and metric management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities effectively.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment with strong communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, flexible, and creative in problem-solving and process improvement.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to interpret plan details and navigate operational processes.
- Capable of making sound recommendations that improve team performance and efficiency.
- Demonstrated strengths in supervision, training, and team development.
- Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and juggle multiple tasks concurrently.
The national base pay range at the end is a good faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications, and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
Pay Grade 18. $56,900 - $119,200
