The Learning Designer is involved in a multitude of eLearning interventions for IT learning and development. A rapid understanding of developer tools, instructional design, graphic design, digital asset management, and content distribution methods will be required. These responsibilities require up-to-date knowledge of training technology and interactive learning tools, processes, and best practices.

Responsibilities included but not limited to:

  • Responsible for the development of highly engaging and interactive learning solutions using industry standard eLearning software.
  • Apply graphic design practices into practical, application-based learning design and development with the ability to convert strategies to effective and engaging learning experiences.
  • Possess the ability to work in a team environment to design, develop, and build blended learning experiences.
  • Acquire and apply new technology skills to instructional design practice.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Graphic Designer or Instructional Design required
  • Basic knowledge in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere and/or other similar programs
  • Exposure to eLearning software such as Articulate 360, SCORM and Storyline systems or other training software a plus
  • Solid understanding of graphic design principles, visual hierarchy, typography and color theory
  • Demonstrated ability to develop graphics and layouts to support learning products in a range of formats: PDF, websites, web-based training, e-books, etc. and iterate based on feedback
  • Clear and concise interpersonal skills, the ability to work across the organization, excellent synthesizing and organization skills, a professional demeanor and the ability to participate in a team environment are key to this position.
  • Detail Oriented: Brings the highest level of attentiveness to all work
  • Flexible attitude with proven experience working in a team
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite required
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in various phases of the process in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • Ability to learn things thoroughly and quickly
  • Must provide visual portfolio
  • Must be results oriented and capable of meeting or exceeding aggressive deadlines with attention to detail and highest quality results.

  • Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority
  • Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalence
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Instructional Design, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business, Management, Information Systems or Engineering; or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of the concepts, methods and technologies of cloud migration and cloud products.
