Position Summary
Deloitte Tax LLP seeks a Tax Manager in Chicago, Illinois.
Work You'll Do
Align global effective tax rate reduction and efficient global cash utilization with overall business strategy. Assist multinational clients with integrating tax planning into overall business strategy and complying with both U.S. and international regulatory requirements. Review international compliance, research, consulting and planning issues performed by staff and seniors. Assist audit team with audit planning and performing quarter-end and year-end audit procedure. Oversee and supervise junior team members.
Requirements
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, Business Administration, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three (3) years of experience as a Tax Manager or related occupation gaining tax or financial consulting experience.

Experience must include three (3) years of:
- Delivering business solutions to improve clients' organizational management capabilities in tax planning and management reporting;
- Developing Excel-based tax planning prototyping, including enabling the implementation of Oracle ERP systems for business digital transformation into the tax management lifecycle;
- Creating technical solutions and customized modeling to solve tax or financial data management problems;
- Utilizing VBA programming, advanced Excel functions, Power Query, and OCR technology to perform tax or financial process automation and improvement;
- Performing financial statement planning in accordance with various regulations related to accounting and tax standards;
- Utilizing research tools to understand financial accounting or tax standards to apply modeling, including profit & loss (P&L) analysis;
- Assisting clients with preparing global income tax provisions as required under ASC 740 or Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) standards;
- Utilizing concepts of income tax provisions under ASC 740 or GAAP standards and corporate income tax or financial planning in various jurisdictions to calculate and model tax implications in accordance with applicable regulations;
- Interacting directly with senior management of the client team and clients to discuss findings, issues, and resolution; and
- Assisting with the full life cycle of engagements, including staffing, budgeting, and closing out projects.
Position requires approximately 15% domestic travel.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week;
Annual Salary: $116,620.00 - $216,580.00
