Work You'll Do

Deloitte is seeking an experienced and results-driven PeopleSoft Projects Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a Project Delivery Senior Analyst role. The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep expertise in the PeopleSoft Projects module, supporting the delivery of innovative solutions that enhance project costing, billing, and resource management for our clients. This role is responsible for leading functional activities, optimizing system performance, and ensuring successful project outcomes.

  • Serve as a functional SME for the PeopleSoft Projects module, advising on best practices and system enhancements.
  • Support the implementation, configuration, and ongoing optimization of PeopleSoft Projects, including Project Costing, Billing, and Resource Management.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, design solutions, and deliver system improvements that drive business value.
  • Execute project costing, billing, and resource allocation processes within PeopleSoft Projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Develop and deliver user training, process documentation, and knowledge transfer to ensure effective system adoption.
  • Support project delivery activities, including requirements gathering, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.

Our Enterprise Operations as a Service offering provides services to meet our clients' needs for on-going operations of their technology and business process investments through multi-year contracts.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Projects modules, including Project Costing, Billing, and Resource Management.
  • Demonstrated experience leading at least one full-cycle PeopleSoft Projects implementation or upgrade.
  • Proven track record of managing project costing and billing processes in PeopleSoft Projects-minimum 1 year of direct experience.
  • Minimum 1 year experience with requirements gathering, solution design, and user training.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into system solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred:

  • PeopleSoft certification(s) in Projects or related modules.
  • Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $86,000 to $143,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
