Work You'll Do
Deloitte is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented PeopleSoft Finance Treasury and General Ledger Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a Project Delivery Specialist I role. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in PeopleSoft Treasury (Cash Management, Deal Management, Risk Management) and General Ledger modules to support and enhance our clients' financial operations. This role will focus on delivering high-quality solutions in cash flow forecasting, bank reconciliations, and accounting entry generation.

- Serve as a functional SME for PeopleSoft Treasury and General Ledger modules, providing guidance on best practices and system optimization.
- Lead and support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of PeopleSoft Finance modules, focusing on Treasury (Cash Management, Deal Management, Risk Management) and General Ledger.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver enhancements that improve financial processes.
- Perform detailed cash flow forecasting, bank reconciliation processes, and accounting entry generation within PeopleSoft.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring data integrity and compliance with accounting standards.
- Develop and deliver user training and documentation to ensure effective system adoption.
- Support project delivery activities, including testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 year of hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Finance modules, specifically Treasury (Cash Management, Deal Management, Risk Management) and General Ledger.
- Demonstrated experience in at least one full-cycle PeopleSoft Finance implementation or upgrade.
- Proven ability to perform cash flow forecasting and bank reconciliations using PeopleSoft Treasury-minimum 6 months of direct experience.
- Experience generating and validating accounting entries in PeopleSoft General Ledger-minimum 6 months of direct experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and translate business requirements into system solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to perform data analysis and reporting
- PeopleSoft certification(s) in Finance or related modules.
- Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
