Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in Houston, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do
Manage information technology projects for SAP software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage the overall information technology project strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Select the most relevant SAP tools/techniques to meet specific requirements and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Overseeing the process of improving the ability to react in a digital world and enable scalability, remove performance barriers, enable innovation, and modernize core systems and reimagine their business with SAP digital solutions. Oversee the technology needs of an organization, develop strategies to increase the company's profitability, and design and implement plans to comply with legislation and ensuring business growth. Manage and lead the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.

Requirements
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience.

Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Working on and delivering components of engagements, evaluating client's business, modernizing core systems and reimagining their business with SAP digital solutions, utilizing Activate, Accelerated SAP (ASAP), and Waterfall methodologies;
  • Working across phases of the initiation, planning, execution, and closing, including Discovery, Realization, Build, Test, and Deploy for solutions for enterprise-level clients, utilizing Activate, ASAP, and Waterfall methodologies;
  • Developing integration strategy and architecture recommendations for integrating S/4HANA with third-party applications, using SAP Process Integration/Process Orchestration (PI/PO) and SAP Integration Suite applications in the client's landscape;
  • Leading large-scale S/4HANA transformation implementations across organizations globally, driving program governance, and managing client and stakeholder expectations;
  • Working with project teams and project delivery, and tracking and resolving key issues and risks to budget, scope, and resources, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Project and ServiceNow;
  • Leading Quality Assurance (QA) for client deliverables, including Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and Performance Testing, utilizing Micro Focus Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and Jira Service Management;
  • Utilizing Micro Focus ALM and Jira Service Management to support and perform Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and Performance Testing to ensure successful design and implementation of project solutions;
  • Performing SAP Supply Chain modules production rollouts, including Sales & Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Transportation Management (TM), and Global Track and Trace (GTT), and providing post-production Hypercare support and defect resolution, utilizing ServiceNow and Micro Focus ALM.

Other
Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week.
