Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in Sacramento, California and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do
Manage information technology project advisory and implementation services of large-scale data ecosystems, including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments. Manage the full data delivery lifecycle for implementations, including defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines. Ensure that the information technology project designs are transformed into code components as per design patterns and architectural principles by performing code reviews and unit test walkthroughs. Manage the implementation of data enrichment, lookup, filtering and data cleansing routines and solutions to improve data quality of the ingested data. Perform performance tuning of the information technology project components to meet the performance requirements. Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers, participate in and lead aspects of the proposal development process, and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for teams and staff in local offices.

Requirements
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Managing teams utilizing DevOps tools, GitHub, Microsoft (MS) Project, and Waterfall and Agile methodologies to generate insights leveraging On-premises, Web, and Cloud-based platforms;
  • Managing teams that perform data management, including master data, data warehouse, data analytics, data architecture, data quality, and data modeling, utilizing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tools, Azure Blob Storage, and erwin Data Modeler tool for Snowflake Cloud Data platform or Relational databases;
  • Leading teams that work to provide industry insight and analytical support using BI reporting, dashboards, KPIs, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools, including Tableau, Power BI, and OBIEE to produce analysis and insight into organization data;
  • Formulating and creating functional and non-functional specification documentation for product development and roadmaps, business process reengineering, business modeling, analytical and business rules definition, data architecture, and user interface and experience, utilizing prototypes, dataflows, MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio, and MS Visual Studio;
  • Improving data discovery, data profiling, sourcing, modelling, and analytics by defining process mapping, decision mapping, and data governance to support data quality with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) and SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT);
  • Managing complex engagements with relevant data management consulting in master data, data modeling, data architecture, data warehousing, data conversion, data governance, data cleansing, and data quality in Healthcare, Government, and Public sectors, utilizing prototypes, relational databases, Informatica technologies, data modeling tools, and reporting tools;
  • Leading teams that deliver Data Conversion, Data Migrations, and Data Integrations for Cloud and On-premises application, including Salesforce, NetSuite, Zuora, and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), utilizing Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Cloud Services, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and REST APIs.

Annual Salary: $131175 - $218625
