What You'll Do
Lead & Inspire Your Team
  • Supervise and mentor PCTs, LPN/LVNs, and RNs to ensure exceptional patient care.
  • Maintain compliance with DaVita policies and regulatory standards.
  • Provide clinical leadership to improve team performance and patient outcomes.
Deliver Exceptional Patient Care
  • Perform direct patient care, including dialysis initiation & termination, physical assessments, and treatment planning.
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of prescribed dialysis treatments.
Drive Patient Success & Engagement
  • Partner with physicians to analyze patient data and develop individualized care plans.
  • Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Educate & Support Patients
  • Guide patients and families through the dialysis process, ensuring they understand their treatment and care.
  • Provide educational support to help patients live healthier lives.
Develop & Train Future Leaders
  • Assist in evaluating and coaching clinical teammates to help them grow.
  • Foster an environment of continuous learning and professional development.
Problem-Solve & Drive Innovation
  • Act as a clinical expert and problem solver, supporting teammates with complex cases.
  • Troubleshoot clinical challenges and implement best practices for improvement.
Keep the Facility Running Smoothly
  • Assist in scheduling teammates and patients to ensure seamless operations.
Support Other Duties as Needed
  • Stay flexible and support your team where needed to maintain a high standard of care.
What you can expect:
  • Build meaningful and long term relationships with patients and their family in an intimate outpatient setting.
  • Be a part of a team that supports and relies on each other in a positive environment.
  • Deliver care to patients who are often dealing with multiple co-morbidities which require unique treatment plans and the ability to leverage a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge.
  • Oversee a group of patients with the support of PCTs to conduct patient observations, measuring stats and machine set up.
  • You will work with your head, heart and hands each day in a fast paced environment.
What We're Looking For:
Education & Experience:
  • Required: Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
  • Preferred: BSN degree, CDN certification, or additional relevant certifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 2+ years as a dialysis RN with leadership experience preferred
Licenses & Certifications:
  • Required: Current RN license in the state of practice
  • Required: CPR certification
  • Preferred: Additional certifications such as Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN)
  • Must meet Joint Commission (TJC) accreditation standards as required by state regulations
  • CMS compliance: Completion of approved training programs for water treatment systems prior to operation
Technical & Leadership Skills:
  • Strong patient care and assessment skills
  • Ability to train and mentor teammates in dialysis care
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and ability to gain functional proficiency in DaVita's clinical systems within 90 days

Salary/ Wage Range
$43.00 - $56.00 / hour
