Here is what you can expect as a Finance manager at DaVita:

As a DaVita Financial Manager based at DaVita's world headquarters in Denver, CO, you will join the Delphi Digital Next Finance Team performing a wide range of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) functions, as well as leadership activities for the Digital Next initiative which pursues clinical excellence by engaging patients, physicians, and teammates through industry leading IT, education, process improvement, and communications.

This position is responsible for forecasting, budgeting, supporting process improvements, metric/report development, customer invoicing support, and providing detailed financial analysis to ensure goals and objectives are achieved in alignment with DaVita's Mission and Core Values.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Employ strong EQ to build relationships with team, leaders and partners

- Leverage network to achieve project goals and create buy-in from stakeholders

- Create thoughtful, results-oriented presentations, anticipate questions, and drive engagement

- Lead the budget cycle collaborating with department heads to craft, and submit, detailed annual spending plans

- Coordinate with lane owners to identify short and long-term forecast-impacting variables to improve monthly financial projections and reporting

- Perform variance analysis and interpret financial results for leaders across various levels of the organization

- Develop and monitor metrics, key to evolving business needs

- Build and maintain decision support models

- Ensure monthly customer billing accuracy, reconciliation, and communication with Legal and Compliance

- Monitor business AP activities, and synchronize with Accounting for month-end close

- Coordinate with direct and indirect reports to ensure high quality, on-time, and accountable work from team

- Manipulate, reference and summarize large data sets

- Other ad hoc analysis and special projects

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree, quantitative disciplines preferred
  • 4+ years in finance, consulting, or relevant business analytics role
  • Previous experience managing teammates
  • Extensive experience with financial modeling and familiarity working with large, complex Excel files
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; able to properly digest complicated data sets or business scenarios to provide creative & efficient solutions
  • Team-player able to work collaboratively alongside our stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills to share recommendations to team leaders and key stakeholders through verbal and written presentations
  • Experience with Oracle Essbase/SmartView, Anaplan preferred
