DaVita is looking for a FLOAT Patient Care Technician to serve our patients in the greater Melrose Park, IL area.
Dialysis experience not required. We will train you!
** This is a float position that may require working and traveling to multiple locations, including areas such as:
- Villa Park, IL
- Niles, IL
- Carol Stream, IL
- Woodridge, IL
- Schaumburg, IL
- Joliet, IL
- Chicago - Norwood Park, Montclare, Brickyard
- Home clinic will be Brickyard
- Will work every other Saturday / No work on Sundays!
- Flexible Shifts: Clinics operate Monday - Saturday (4:00 AM - 12:00 AM) with rotating Saturdays
- 10-12 Hour Shifts: Work 3-4 days per week with schedules set 3-4 weeks in advance
- Paid training: DaVita offers all new dialysis teammates a robust, paid training program to help you learn the right dialysis skills. The training is a mix of classroom and hands on training. Expect 32-40 hours per week.
- Reimbursement for your Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) license

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Passion for helping others & working in healthcare
- Comfortable working around blood & needles
- Flexible schedule (mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays)
- Physically capable of standing for long shifts (12+ hours)
- Willingness to work across multiple clinics if needed
- Healthcare experience is a plus! CNA, CMA, Phlebotomy, or Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) experience is beneficial but not required!

Salary/ Wage Range
$18.00 - $27.50 / hour
