The ideal candidate for this career opportunity will be a quick-learner, ambitious and ready to learn. The person in this position will have a strong sense of "team" and have the keen ability to work well with others. Basic requirements are a Bachelor's Degree (we need to be able to tell you like numbers!), some work experience (this includes internship experience), intermediate to advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Here's what you can expect as a Financial Analyst at DaVita:

The Financial Analyst will work as part of the Capital Strategy and Innovation (CSI) team within DaVita's Kidney Care Finance organization. A highly visible team, we draw financial and strategic insights from various data sources and provide recommendations to executives spanning across DaVita's operations, including the CEO, CFO, and COO of the dialysis business. CSI centrally supports capital decisions regarding new clinics, return on our investments of building new centers, profitability of clinics, and repair and maintenance needs of existing clinics. The teammate should expect to work on multiple projects simultaneously. This position and team is based Denver, Colorado.

Responsibilities to include:
  • Build and support complex models
  • Support field finance teammates via support inbox, discussion board and training
  • Collaborate with operations partners on repair & maintenance needs of 3,000 clinic portfolio
  • Financial oversight of $140M of spend (operating and capital expense)
  • Provide analytical support and insights to leadership
  • Pose the right questions and structure analytical frameworks to address those questions
  • Use database queries to gather supporting data
  • Must be willing to stretch "up" and "down" in responsibilities
Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field
  • 1-3 years of work experience (internships included)
  • Prior budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial statements
  • Excellent communication
  • Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Anaplan, SQL, Python, VBA, and other programming skills desired; willingness to learn is required
  • Familiarity with geospatial software and Anaplan desired; willingness to learn required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and ability to get stuff done
