Utilization Management Associate Must reside in Eastern Standard Time

This UM Nurse Associate position is with Aetna's Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) team and is a remote position out of Virginia. The requirement is for this candidate to hold a Virginia Licensed Practical Nurse license.Scheduled work hours will be Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.Nurse Case manager is responsible for reviewing member medical records and treatment plans to ensure the appropriateness, effectiveness and timeliness of care, while also managing healthcare resources and costs. This role includes review of personal care authorization requests and private duty nursing requests.

Required Qualifications

• Must reside in Eastern Standard Time, Preferably Virginia
• LPN with current unrestricted Virginia state licensure required
• 3 years clinical experience (preferably in medical surgical nursing, behavioral health, long term care, etc.)
• 1+ years managed care experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Typical office working environment with productivity and quality expectations
• Ability to multitask , prioritize and effectively adapt to a fast paced changing environment
• Position requires proficiency with computer skills which includes navigating multiple systems and keyboarding

Education

• LPN with current unrestricted Virginia state licensure required

The typical pay range for this role is:$22.40 - $48.67This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
