As a Senior Manager, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight for financial planning and analysis (FP&A) functions by coordinating budgeting and forecasting processes, providing guidance on financial strategy, and collaborating with stakeholders to align financial goals with business objectives. This role will allow you to ensure accurate financial reporting, drive process improvements, and contribute to strategic planning and risk assessment.

You will accomplish this by:
  • Developing and executing the annual financial planning and analysis (FP&A) budgeting process for several Revenue Enhancement Programs, an evolving income source encompassing buy-up, shared savings, and other fee for service offerings that provide for better overall healthcare experiences and financial outcomes for members.
  • Providing accurate financial projections by creating, enhancing, and maintaining financial models at program, business segment, and regional levels which support strategic decision-making and long-term financial planning.
  • Collaborating with product specialists in the business to understand features, pricing structures and revenue sharing arrangements that impact financial results and provide finance support in development of business cases for new programs.
  • Coordinating with finance expense teams to ensure alignment of projections with correlated expenses for products with vendor fees or other pass-through expenses.
  • Analyzing financial performance, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis and leverage to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership and further strengthen and refine future projections.
  • Conducting scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis to evaluate the financial impact of various business scenarios and help guide strategic decisions.
  • Effectively leveraging technology to streamline and automate forecasting and reporting activities where possible.
  • Building reporting to support Segment and Region CFOs understanding of their General Fee revenue results and projections.
Required Qualifications:
  • 7 or more years' work experience in finance, accounting, actuarial, or related field
  • Foundational understanding of financial forecasting
  • Ability to consolidate/report results to business partners and financial management
  • Strong communication skills and ability to foster relationships with key business partners
  • Adept at collaboration and teamwork
  • Adept at problem solving and decision making
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Willingness to travel up to 5% (including plane travel)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Healthcare, managed care insurance or financial services experience
  • Proficiency with financial systems: Hyperion, Oracle, S4
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize competing requests

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in related field required; equivalent work experience may substitute.Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$82,940.00 - $182,549.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.Our people fuel our future.
