And we do it all with heart, each and every day.Position SummaryAetna is seeking a senior manager to join our Communications team, as part of the CVS Communications Function. This role is equal parts communications strategist, creative storyteller and campaign manager. More specifically, the role is focused on a combination of executive and business communications, with a focus on leadership communications, internal, external and social content development, and communications campaign management and execution. You will be a key strategic communications partner, within Aetna and CVS, in the areas of Health, Technology and Insurance, working across the enterprise to achieve communications and business goals. You will bring new ideas to the table that keep our stakeholders informed and inspired.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities includes but not limited to:

Research, develop, recommend and execute communications strategies to foster sharing of our content strategy across platforms and audiences

Develop and execute thought leadership strategies and tactics across the senior leadership team

Grow strong relationships with partners across the enterprise with colleagues at a variety of levels, both within and outside of Enterprise Communications

Leverage your deep expertise to identify and provide recommendations for changes in communications strategy to drive more impactful results and colleague engagement

Prepare materials and presentations in a way that adds value, is easily understood by others who may not have the same background or expertise and demonstrates results and impact. Communicates and influences at all levels of the organization.

Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in increasingly responsible communications leadership roles, including experience with internal and external communications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including ability to succinctly but persuasively share information across both internal and external audiences
  • Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality. Strong performance accountability orientation, both in terms of following through on commitments and deadlines
  • Strategic and analytical thinker, with superior problem-solving skills and the ability to support tactical execution without losing site of the overall strategy
  • Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to advance communications goals via social and digital channels
  • Experienced in developing key performance metrics that resonate with multiple internal audiences
  • Strong collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal and external parties
  • Experience sourcing stories and developing a story pipeline across an industry or at a large organization
  • Excellent executive presence and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of professionalism and executive presence required to interface with executives on a regular basis and partner with business owners
  • Understanding of best practices across all channels including social media, website content, internal communications
  • An interest and ability to effectively deliver in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel, as needed, in support of business needs
  • Experience in healthcare, insurance and/or consulting is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Executive communications strategy experience in the health insurance or related healthcare industries is preferred. Education

Bachelor's degree and or equivalent years of education and experiencePay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$82,940.00 - $182,549.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.Our people fuel our future.
