Senior Legal Counsel - Litigation

And we do it all with heart, each and every day.Position SummaryCVS Health has an exciting opportunity for an in-house counsel position to join the Litigation Team to assist in advancing the business objectives, interests and image of the company through various litigation activities.Responsibilities

• Managing complex civil litigation matters and providing legal guidance to Caremark, CVS Health's pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) subsidiary, as it relates to litigation affecting the PBM industry, as well as federal and state agency regulatory inquiries and regulatory compliance actions.
• Responsibilities include: determining high level strategy regarding assigned cases, managing discovery, participating in settlement negotiations, and interviewing and preparing witnesses for testimony.
• Working closely with in-house regulatory counsel and government affairs teams on strategy.
• Managing outside counsel and handling a full case load of litigation matters

Required Qualifications

• 8 years of litigation experience and/or healthcare legal experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare Legal Experience
• Experience with government investigations and regulatory work.

The typical pay range for this role is:$175,100.00 - $334,750.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
