Position Summary

  • Performs economic research and studies of rates of return, depreciation, and investments.
  • Analyzes profit-and-loss income statements and prepares reports and recommendations to management.
  • Generates forecasts and analyzes trends in sales, finance, and other areas of business.
  • Researches economic progressions to assist the organization's financial planning.
  • Creates financial models of "what if" scenarios for future business planning decisions in areas such as new product development and new marketing strategies.
  • Cultivates and maintains relationships with key internal partners
  • This role requires an individual who takes a hands-on approach who is not just a user of tools but also builds the tools

  • Support yearly funding submissions
  • Secure funding requests from program leads by initiative for all anticipated OPEX related expenses e.g., human capital, licenses, outside consultative support & Capex related spend
  • Assist with building out a robust planning submission file
  • Refine processes for reclassification of expenses from native cost centers into COMET
  • Reconcile expenses against budget and remediate discrepancies
  • Build and maintain working relationships with train leads and finance teams
  • Provide consultation on all aspects of COMET program financial health
  • Understand and support COMET's long-term objectives and priorities
  • Identify and assist in process improvement opportunities
Key skills and abilities in Value will include:
  • Determine expected ROI for all COMET initiatives
  • Optimize tools utilized for value tracking and socialization
  • Recommend areas of additional opportunities, adjunct value creation
  • Conduct regular outreach to key stakeholders on value realization
  • Hands on experience with data mining tools and report writing applications
  • Mindset that leads you to ask why, which in turn prompts follow up questions when identifying value
Required Qualifications
  • 3-5 years direct experience managing budgets and deriving initiative value
  • Ability to travel up to 10% for PI planning events
  • At least 2 years of experience with Rally, Tableau (to highlight outcomes), and Power BI
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent executive communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in anticipating stakeholder needs and requirements
  • Experience in building strong cross-functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate internal and external cross-functional business issues
  • Knowledge of SAFe concepts
  • Experience with Hyperion
  • Confident, initiative-taker; demonstrates organizational/follow-up skills
  • Must be able to work efficiently managing multiple projects
Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,700.00 - $102,000.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
